Fall Select Tryouts
For Competitive Level HS Baseball Players
For competitive players entering 9-12th grades this fall. Up to 60 players will be invited to participate (up to 3 teams).
3&2's Fall Select program is designed to provide an opportunity to players wanting to expand their baseball experience in a highly competitive fall baseball environment and interested in showcasing their baseball talents and skills to area and regional college coaches and recruiters.
Bob Jones is the Head Coach/ Program Director. This will be his ninth year of the program. Bob has led this highly successful program since its inception and many of its participants have been recruited to play college baseball. The coaching staff includes past players with college and professional baseball experience. The coaching staff provides the highest level of coaching and baseball instruction.
Recommendations are accepted from your high school and/or summer league coaches. Coaches and players should contact both Bob Jones and 3&2 Baseball via e-mail with the names of the players from their school that can compete at this level of baseball. Team(s) will be formed based on recommendation of their high school coaches and in compliance with KSHAA rules. Registration should be submitted by July 29, 2016.

Tryouts Dates
Tuesday, August 2 - Pitchers & Catchers – 5-7pm
Wednesday, August 3 - Position Players 6-8:30pm
Thursday, August 4 - Controlled Scrimmage games 6-8:30 pm
Practices will occur on Tuesday and/or Thursday Evenings – August thru October.
In addition to the 3&2 Fall Select HS Showcases (involving HS showcase teams and community college teams), the Fall Select traveling team has/will participate in showcase games at the following colleges and universities:

Games are played on the weekends during the Fall at college fields.
The Fall Select Development Teams usually made up of freshmen and sophomores, will participate in the 3&2 Fall League and play in 3-4 tournaments.
The cost will vary based on the level of play, $900 (approximately 16 players) for the Travel Team and $600 for players on the non-traveling development teams (approximately 15 players). Players for the Travel Team will be determined by tryouts and first week of practice. Players/Parents are responsible for own lodging, travel and meals.
There are no 3&2 Scholarships available for this program.
