It is not often that three of Lea Cars superb wedding cars are involved in a wedding but Claire Spedding realised she needed three when planning her wedding day in September 2013 with bridegroom Danny Hooper.
On August 9thLea Cars fabulous convertible ivory Rolls Royce Corniche, driven by chauffeur Kevin, first took Danny with his mum Val, his best man brother Tony and his son Matthew aged 11 from Mytton Fold Hotel and Golf Club via the Edisford Bridge Pub to St Paul’s Church in Clitheroe. Then it went to Claire’s parents’ house in Clitheroe.
Meanwhile Lea Cars royal blue Bentley Arnage wedding car, driven by chauffeur Stuart, went to Slaidburn to collect Claire’s aunt and uncle to bring them to the church.
The Mercedes Limousine driven by chauffeur Richard then took four bridesmaids, two flower girls and stepmum Olwyn to the church closely followed by the Rolls with Claire and her dad Robin.
Kevin and Richard took photos on their cameras throughout as well as using bride Claire’s iPhone. The moss green ribbons on the cars matched the bridesmaid’s dresses perfectly.
After the ceremony, some mingling, some photos, a proclamation by the Clitheroe Town Crier, Roland Hailwood, some confetti and some champagne the Rolls driven by Richard left first to take the newlyweds to Edisford Bridge for photos in a lovely wood.
Meanwhile the Bentley Arnage took Robin, Olwyn and Val with champagne, and son Matthew with an apple fruit shoot, to Mytton Fold for the reception. And the Mercedes Limousine took all the six bridesmaids with champagne and apple fruit shoots for the flower girls.
On arrival to a cheering crowd of guests outside the Mytton Fold Hotel organised by the chauffeurs, there were more photos and at the request of Claire and Danny there was a photoshoot with Matthew by and in the driving seat of each of the three wedding cars. Matthew loves cars.
