Have you ever heard of anime?  For those of you who haven't, anime is short for "animation" and is a style of animation/cartoon that derives from Japan and has gained a significant following in the U.S. over the years. Anime can be either computer-animated or hand-drawn can be showcased through a variety of mediums. Toyota Motor Sales and Marketing is supporting a new project, TOYOTA STUDIO 4C PRESENTS PES (Peace Eco Smile) at the Los Angeles Anime EXPO 2012.

The new PES Project investigates the idea of mobility drivers gain from automobiles. Rather than simply focusing on just the technologies that are available today, the project looks at the mere pleasure of movement. The Japanese automaker and STUDIO4C have created an animated series that follows a curious alien exploring the joys of driving and understanding the importance of safety while doing so. PES was featured at the Expo starting June 29th. However, you can still find the series with English subtitles on the brand's YouTube channel, here (http://www.youtube.com/user/toytoyotaPES). One of the Toyota models that was featured in the series was the new Toyota Camry. All of the scenes feature safety tips such s as "Never drink and drive."
