1) 1st ILNU Parliamentary Debate 2013 to be held from 16th February to 18th February. It will follow the 3 on 3 Asian format with a team cap of 3 institutions per university, with prize money of 1 lakh. The last date of registration is February 7th, 2013. 2) Christ University’s Fifth Annual Parliamentary Debate. The last date of registration is February 7th, 2013. 3) IITR’s Vox Populi (or Cognizance) being held between 22nd march and 24th march 2013. It will follow a 3 on 3 Asian format, with a team cap of 3 teams and with a requisite of A level adjudicators following the N + 1 rule. The last date for registration is March 1st. 4) The 8th Ernst and Young Shri Ram Debating Festival 2013, which will take place between the 1st and 5th of March, 2013. It will follow the Asian parliamentary debate format with prize money of over Rs. 2 Lakh. It will follow the n+1 rule. There is a team cap of 2 teams. The last date for registration is February 16th. 5) The Jadavpur University Debating Society’s Voxpop Nationals 2013. The finals will be held on 25th February, 2013 with the online round on 16th February and the quarters and semi finals on 24th February. Last date for registration is 10th February. 6) Kirori Mal College’s (KMC) Frank Thakur Das Memorial being held between the 19th and 21st of February, 2013. There is a team cap of 2 teams, and will follow the 3 on 3 Asian format and the n+1 rule. The last date for registration is 8th of February 2013. 7) PCTE Group of Institutions Dr. D.R. Singh Memorial British Parliamentary Debate to be held between 21st and 23rd February, 2013. It will follow the British parliamentary form of debating with prize money up to 150,000. Last date for registration is the 11th of February, 2013. 8) Ramjas College’s annual debating tournament “Polemic” is to take place between 14th and 15th February, 2013. It will follow a two on two debating format. The last date for registration is 7th February, 2013. -
