For me, Christmas came earlier this year with the arrival of a box full of beauty goodies from Pixi by Petra. I can't even tell you how excited I was when I received it, I heard so many great things about this brand and now, to finally have the chance to test it, it was pure heaven!
I won't keep you in suspense anymore, so let's get started!
Palette Rosette - Is a real winner in my opinion. It has everything that you could possibly need for a makeup look, eyeshadow, highlighter, brow powder, contour, blush, you name it. The gorgeous rose, creme and taupe shades are just perfect for a natural or a more dramatic look. The shadows and powders are really pigmented and they have a good lasting power. Since I received this beauty, I used it daily and I am very impressed with it. I tried to do some decent swatches to this palette, but I did not succeed, I guess trying to do swatches and look after a toddler is not the best idea.
Fairy Dust Favourites - Metallic Warmth - The only thing I could say after swatching these beauties was WOW. I mean, they are so pigmented and so sparkly, simply gorgeous! I used the lightest shade as a highlighter and it looked pretty awesome. I haven't used the other ones yet, but I plan to use them for my Christmas makeup, can't wait!
Endless Silky Eye Pen (Opal Overcoat) & Mattelustre Lipstick (Classic Red) - Did anyone say holiday glamour? Because that's what these products are saying right now. These products make the perfect team and they are just perfect for the upcoming holidays. The eye pen is super soft and has a very good lasting power. Since it's waterproof, you can stay assured that your makeup will look flawless the entire night. The lipstick is very creamy and smooth. The colour is vibrant and has a good lasting power.
Overall, I am really impressed with these products. They have a good pigmentation, a good colour pay off and for the price you should definitely give them a try. The packaging is very Christmasy, just in time for the holidays.
