Paul Jones returned to Wisconsin in 2003, after a 20 year career as a lawyer, angel investor, venture capitalist and serial venture capital-backed entrepreneur in Silicon Valley and the Carolinas. Since returning to the Fox Valley, Paul has continued his angel investing, both individually and as a member of the Investment Committee of Angels on the Water, and serves as Co-Chair of the emerging business and venture capital practice – Venture Best – at Michael Best & Friedrich, LLP. After thirty years in and around the high impact entrepreneur and venture capital space, Paul has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of entrepreneurship, venture capital, angel investing and the service providers who stalk them – and is still having a lot of fun.
