We are just plain GIDDY about the upcoming Dallas New Tech coming up in just three weeks — not only do we have some amazing presenters for you this month (as always), but we’ll be at a new venue!

Join us on October 7 at the Venue at 400 North Ervay. We’ll be on the rooftop and can’t wait! The Venue promises to be a perfect location — we’re looking forward to the additional space and seeing all of you there!

And just take a look at the awesome presenters on the docket for the evening:

Myth Innovations - Founder and President Jim Luckett will present Mi WorldTM, a portable computing system that fits in the palm of your hand. The device creates a secure wireless ecosystem that connects and shares information between a person’s digital devices. Myth Innovations is based in Dallas.

Grabbitt - Founder Justin Hissong will present Grabbitt, a mobile app that allows event attendees to purchase merchandise when they want it and not carry anything around at the event. Everything is either on their phone in a digital format, held at will call for them or shipped directly to their house. Grabbitt is based in Dallas.

Point N Time Software - Co-Founder and President Travis Davis and Co-Founder Mike Williams will present Meeting Mapper, the company’s anchor mobile app that gathers “Actionable Sales Intelligence” from sales, project and internal meetings and interactions, while connecting directly to Salesforce.com and Oracle Sales Cloud. Point N Time Software is based in Allen.

Backpack - Founder Felipe Rocha will present Backpack, a digital textbook authoring platform that enables authors to write together, and readers to read anywhere. Backpack turns textbooks into digital assets, giving authors new ways to measure and monetize their content, while giving readers complete freedom to read from any screen or page. Backpack has recently launched in closed Beta, and will be open to users in early 2015.

Vision2 Systems - Co-founder Carl Tierney will present the company’s multi-channel engagement platform that supports donor management, marketing, payment processing and revenue accounting in a single system capable of serving the $300 Billion individual giving market. Vision2 Systems is based in Dallas.

ReferMe - Founder Abrahim Nadimi will present ReferMe, thestartup’s first mobile app, which accelerates karma by connecting people with trusted referrals from their friends, so searches for business providers or resources always provide a path to a great person. ReferMe is based in Dallas.

“Now more than ever, the tech startup environment here in Dallas is a vibrant and fast-growing mecca, supported primarily by the concerted efforts of the local community to provide resources, funding, physical space and support,” said Bradley Joyce, founder of LAUNCH DFW.
