You may recall the awesome health food subscription box review I posted last month. After that giveaway ended, they offered me the opportunity to sample another month’s box and I couldn’t say no.
Bestowed Box
The Bestowed box is sent out each month filled with products hand-picked by Heather Bauer to make our lives easier. Heather is a registered dietitian , so she picks only healthy items to put into the boxes. This month’s shipment (September 2013) had a back to school theme where all of the items would be perfect for a packed lunch or quick snack. I was actually pretty impressed with this month’s various offerings.
This month’s Bestowed box provided me multiple new products, including some from my favorite brands. The brands I’ve familiar with included Popcorn Indiana, who put in their new FIT Popcorn and Nonni’s featured the THINaddictives Cranberry Almond Thins. I was happy to get a whole package of La Tortilla Factory’s White Whole Wheat Soft Wrap Minis… They will be great for packing my lunch this year.
There were several additional products from brands I’d never tried. I enjoy finding new fruit snacks, so the Funky Monkey Fruit Snacks were a nice surprise. I’m certainly looking forward to trying the Happy Family Happy Squeeze Greek Yogurt as I love yogurt too. One company I’d heard of but never tried in the box was Somersault Snack Co. They provided their Cinnamon Crunch Somersaults, which are certainly great to munch on with this cooler weather. I’m planning to try the Pacific Natural Foods Hazelnut Chocolate Diary-Free Milk with breakfast some morning. The only product I’m for sure giving to my boyfriend is the Pearls Black Pitted Olives to Go.
I love the approach they took with Bestowed box this month. All of the foods are delicious and I can’t wait to implement them into my school rotinue. Plus, Heather included some back to school tips in this box as well as a delicious Lunchbox Turkey, Hummus and Roasted Red Pepper Pinwheels recipe. So, what do you think of this month’s subscription?
