Cancun welcomed more than 800,000 visitors during March and April of 2014, an increase compared to the 725,000 tourists who visited in 2013 during the same months. Cancun also hopes to continue this trend and welcome even more visitors this March and April.

With travelers from around the world seeking refuge from the cold winter in Mexico, Cancun is positioning itself as the ideal destination for spring travel. The Cancun Convention & Visitors Bureau is doing its best to lure discerning travelers from all walks of life, and with varying interests, to experience this multi-faceted paradise by taking advantage of surprising excursions, thrilling activities and unmatched experiences that will elevate a traditional spring break vacation to the trip of a lifetime.

Here are some Cancun travel tips and recommendations to fit a variety of tastes.

Culture Aficionados:

• Visit and climb Coba, the tallest Mayan pyramid in the Yucatan with Alltournative.
