This is one of the most exciting post I´ve had to write in my existence as a blogger. Latina Bloggers Connect has partnered with LATISM (Latinos in Social Media) to help organize the first ever Latina Blogger Retreat in Washington, D.C. happening this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at the chic Hotel Helix in downtown Washington, D.C.
As part of the event, the White House has invited us for a briefing to discuss issues affecting Latinos nationwide. The honor is just unmeasurable.
We will be covering the event live and posting pictures here, on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more!
I´m running around to get details in order before flying out to D.C. tomorrow morning for a pre-conference event with Mary Kay, so I´ll copy the press release from LATISM to give you all the juicy details, plus the list of the amazing #TopBlogueras heading to D.C.!
But, before that, I want to send a huge thank you to the women at LATISM who´ve had the vision, passion and heart to make this possible: Ana Roca and Elianne Ramos, with Elma Placeres Dieppa
