The East Central Railway is one of the 16 railway zones in India. It is headquartered at Hajipur and comprises Sonpur, Samastipur, Danapur, Mughalsarai, and Dhanbad divisions. This zone came into existence on 8 September 1996 and fully operational since 1 October 2002. The administrative head of zone is called General Manager. The current head of this zone is Mr. A.K. Educational Qualification – Applicants should have Passed Class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination with 50% marks from a Recognized Board/ Institution.
Age Limit- Minimum 18 Years, Maximum 29 Years.
Salary- Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Qualification for Scouts & Guides (Group-D) Post
Educational Qualification – Applicants should have Passed Class 10th/ ITI or equivalent examination with 50% marks from a Recognized Board/ Institution.
Age Limit- Minimum 18 Years, Maximum 32 Years.
Salary- Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- per month.
