Many critics lashed out at President Trump when he selected Stephen Bannon to sit on the National Security Council, but it appears as if Trump didn’t even know that he gave Bannon that position when he signed the executive order.

Bannon, famous for being the head of the alt-right’s Breitbart, is a known racist and now one of the most powerful men in the country.

For Bannon, he believes that it is important that they keep releasing big policies and fast.

“We are moving big and we are moving fast,” Mr. Bannon said, when asked about the upheaval of the first two weeks. “We didn’t come here to do small things.”

Take the Muslim ban that barred travelers from 7 Muslim-majority countries. The order has since been restrained by the court system and is viewed by many as extremely illegal.

And while all of this is happening, Trump’s approval ratings remain the lowest of any first term president, something that clearly bothers Trump as he needs to be liked.

Trump certainly deserves blame for signing off on his various executive orders, but now it appears as if Trump accidentally gave Bannon the NSC seat.

According to reports. Trump became angry when he learned how much power he had given Bannon.

Bannon himself is aware that his power will likely be curtailed in the coming months and is determined to continue pushing out questionable policies as quickly as possible.

For now, White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus is helping Trump develop a system that will prevent further embarrassment in the future.

Priebus is rolling out a checklist system that will include Trump in the drafting process and keep him well informed of what each executive order is trying to accomplish.

Priebus felt this was necessary after the Trump administration suffered immense embarrassment after it became clear that key departments weren’t filled in about the upcoming Muslim ban.

Even former Republican opponent Chris Christie suggested that Trump was let down by his staff.

“The president deserves better than the rollout he got on the immigration executive order,” Mr. Christie said. “The fact is that he’s put forward a policy that, in my opinion, is significantly more effective than what he had proposed during the campaign, yet because of the botched implementation, they allowed his opponents to attack him by calling it a Muslim ban.”
