The Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas NV will alter names & be transformed in to the Bud Light Hotel during the upcoming 2014 Nightclub & Bar Convention starting March 24.
“Bar Rescue” star Jon Taffer says in that comedian Adam Carolla will be this year’s opening keynote speaker & in that DJ Avicii has signed on for the opening night at the Bud Light Hotel.
“It’s going to be a hell of a party — — beyond excitement,” Jon told me. “We’ll announce another live band next week, yet the whole Hard Rock Hotel, from parties to pools, from bars to restaurants, will have a monster activation in to the Bud Light Hotel.
“Every element you can imagine will be converted. It’s a huge commitment by Anheuser-Busch. It will be just like they did at the Super Bowl.” Our full interview with Jon will be posted Tuesday.
MAGIC PIANO: A unique 2,400-square-foot cocktail bar at The Linq opening this spring will have noteworthy cocktails, yet a Steinway Baby grand set amid the irreverent modern art work will be the starring attraction.
This is no ordinary piano. Various artists from around the world via satellite & in human being will donate showcase performances through a “cloud” above the piano, which re-creates visual effects of everything from rain to thunderstorms to accompany the performances be they live or via satellite.

Grammy sensation Lorde, the New Zealand singer-songwriter with more than 150 million YouTube views, will now perform for two nights at Boulevard Pool in the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Originally set for April 16, she’ll arrive a day earlier to perform April 15, too. Tickets go on sale Friday.
Due to very popular demand, The Scintas have added an additional “Encore Week” from Wed. through Sunday this week at the D Las Vegas, & they tell me in that they will be making some changes to the show over the coming weeks.
