BORDER GRILL AT FORUM SHOPS
Border Grill has formally announced in that it will open a new restaurant in the summer of 2014 inside the Forum Shops at Ceasars at Caesars Palace. The Border Grill is owned by Mary Sue Milliken & Susan Feniger of Bravo’s “Top Chef Masters” & the Food Network’s “Too Hot Tamales.” It will be the 2nd location in Las Vegas NV & the 7th in the United States. HAKKASAN DONATION
Hakkasan Las Vegas NV Restaurant & Nightclub at the MGM Grand presented a donation of $50,636 to Three Square Food Bank during its 1st Hakkasan Gives Back initiative. For each guest who dined at Hakkasan during December, the restaurant donated $5 to the food bank. In addition, the staff moreover contributed money & personal time. More info

NEW LOOK AT N9NE STEAKHOUSE
N9NE Steakhouse at The Palms has unveiled its new look. The remodel was part of the $50 million beautification at the Palms, which began last year. In addition, they have added some new menu items created by Chef Barry S. Dakake. Additions contain decadent entrees like the braised Kobe Beef Short Rib & 48oz. prime rib eye Tomahawk steak for two. Seafood lovers can enjoy the 3 pound succulent Lobster Thermidor. They have moreover introduced new dessert & beverage selections. In addition, N9NE offers a 3-course prix fixe menu from 5:30 to 7 p.m. daily for $59 per person. More info

AVN ADULT ENTERTAINMENT EXPO & NOVELTY EXPO
The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo & AVN Novelty Expo are taking place Jan. 15-18 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. More than 300 adult entertainment performers are scheduled to appear this year. Hours are 1-5 p.m. Jan. 15; 1-6 p.m. Jan. 16; noon-6 p.m. Jan. 17; & 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 18. The expo will moreover showcase hundreds of the biggest adult studios, manufactorers, distributors & retailers in the industry. The annual yearly awards show will take place Jan. 18 at the Hard Rock. THE ENGLISH BEAT
Ska musicians The English Beat will present a free (no cost) concert Jan. 17 at the Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas NV Strip. 2-for-1 Miller Lite during the shows. 15% off food & non-alcoholic beverages for locals with valid ID. FLEMING’S GRAND OPENING
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar will celebrate its grand opening at Town Square on Las Vegas NV Boulevard South on Jan. 20. There will be a ceremony at 4:10 p.m. The restaurant opens to the public on Jan. 17. More info

PANDA!
“Panda!” is being presented through Feb. 28 in the Palazzo Theater at The Venetian. “Panda!” combines high-flying acrobatics, martial arts, music & dance, & includes a cast of award-winning performers from the China National Acrobatic Troupe & Shaolin Monastery Kung Fu Monks Troupe. LADY LUCK INVITATIONAL
South Point Arena hosts the Lady Luck Invitational Friday, Jan. 17 – Sunday, Jan. 19, showcasing elite gymnasts from around the country, in addition to Las Vegas’ very own Brown’s Gymnastics.  Fans have the possibility to see more than 1,200 youth gymnasts, as well as up-and-coming Olympic contenders.
