They’ve rearranged the furniture & dusted down the Diary Room ready for a new intake of famous housemates; Celebrity Big Brother has begun & the 1st housemates in the swanky pad are Jim Davidson & Linda Nolan handcuffed together.
The 2nd couple to enter the house was musician Dappy & Mail On Sunday columnist Liz Jones – they too were handcuffed, much to journalist Liz’s dismay.
Third in the house as a pair were handcuffed babes TOWIE star Sam Faiers & all-American girl Jasmine Waltz.
Next to enter the glamorous house, albeit handcuffed to each other, was boy band star Lee Ryan & busty model Casey Batchelor.

He’s the 1st in: Comedian Jim Davidson arrived to enter the Celebrity Big Brother first, yet a twist meant he had to wait for his ‘partner’ to enter the studio
First in: Before she knew she was about to be handcuffed to Jim Davidson, the star said: ‘God assist me if Jim Davidson’s in the house – I had him thrown out of a club once.’
Almost dancing in to the house together, the next couple to join their contestants in the celebrity filled house was Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke & ‘Mr Showbiz’ Lionel Blair.
And the final couple to enter the house was former The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman & retired American professional boxer Evander Holyfield.
Walking out to the song Notorious, 1st down the red carpet was Jim who asserted in his VT: ‘I was meant to come in last year yet I was arrested (taken in to custody) as part of Operation Yewtree.’

Not knowing she was going to be handcuffed to Jim Davidson, the singer said: ‘God assist me if Jim Davidson’s in the house – I had him thrown out of a club once.’
Speaking to Emma Willis, the comedian said: ‘I’m a year late. I’m in a different world now yet in the world of celeb I’m just an old comic. He added: ‘I did not get booed – in that was my worst thing.’
Talking about his family’s reaction to him entering the house, he said: ‘My family asserted “You’ve received to go & do it” yet they’re all willing me to not be myself. They asserted “Whatever you do, don’t be you”’.
He added: ‘I’ve been married five times I can live with anyone.’
Emma revealed Jim would have to wait until after the break to enter the house, as Big Brother wasn’t going to let him enter the house alone.

Second to arrive to enter the Big Brother house was 1980s dancer Linda Nolan, whose sister Coleen previously took part in the programme.

She then asserted to him: ‘I think you’re lovely when you’re sober. Jim’s okay unless he gets p***ed when he becomes a pain in the arse.’
Third to the party was N-Dubz star Dappy Contostavlos who walked down the red carpet confidently to P. Diddy’s Bad Boys For Life.
He asserted in his VT: ‘We sold a hell of a lot of albums – I did two sold out tours by myself. The media are painting me out to be some sort of a monster & I’m simply here to repaint that. Let them think what they want to think.
The musician added: ‘Im so excited to enter the BB house – will they let me bring my special herbs?
‘My third leg is my best asset physically. I wish everyone was as down to earth as me, I don’t like back stabbers. I want to win – of course I want to win.’

Fourth in, & eventually handcuffed to Dappy from N-Dubz, was journalist Liz Jones.
She said: ‘I’m most famous for writing about Rihanna. She responded to my column by saying I had a beard – my point is I am not a role model for women, I think what I am is a huge flashing warning sign.’
She added: ‘Sometimes I go a little bit too far – I tell women what the fashion industry is really about. I think people think I am a bit strange.’
The writer then admitted: ‘I am very OCD – I’ve never opened a stainless steel fridge with my hands.’
Fifth in was TOWIE babe Sam Faiers wearing a white, full-length jumpsuit.
Speaking about what she is known for she said: ‘I’m known for having a few very huge arguments in the show yet believe it or not I’m calm,
‘Obviously my relationship with Joey & getting engaged – I’ve had a bumpy roller-coaster.’
She continued: ‘Conflict in the house will be quite entertaining. With me I can sometimes be a bit moody, yet so can everyone.’
And discussing men, she said: ‘Obviously I’m 100% single so if there is a nice guy in there, who knows.

Speaking to Emma as she walked towards the house she asserted she would be able to keep up the glamour about 50% of the time.
‘I don’t have a type, just someone who is up for having a laugh & has a acceptable personality.’
Emma told her she had a wing woman – it was sixth contestant Jasmine Waltz – a model from America.
‘I have in the past been called a home wrecker.’ She referred to an occurrence regarding Lindsay Lohan & moreover Courteney Cox.
It starts with a kiss: Dappy & Jasmine get to grips with each other as the all-American girl entered the house attached to Sam
And not far behind Jasmine…: Sam, who is handcuffed to American actress Jasmine, moreover had a kiss off Dappy & then Liz
‘I’m not always the most patient person, I tend to like things my way. I really don’t take well to authority. ‘
She revealed she likes British men & is currently single.
Seventh in the house was Lee Ryan from boy band Blue. He asserted in his VT Blue was the ‘best band in the world’.
He added: ‘We sold 16million albums & won two Brit awards.’

The star said: ‘It’s like I’ve received verbal diarrhea & I do believe in aliens. I’m child-like I’m stupid, silly & eccentric. I’m not expecting in that I’m going to get on with everyone – if people don’t like me then just join the queue.’
And boy band star Lee was next to be handcuffed, & he received topless model Casey Batchelor.
As she was introduced as the eight member of the house, the model asserted she’d been on dates with several celebrities.
‘I’ve been on dates with Peter Andre & Jermaine Defoe – just don’t donate me a drink 'cause I’ll reveal all my secrets.
She added: ‘I’m not one to cause a confrontation yet if someone wants to have it out with me I won’t hold back.’

The ninth housemate to walk the red carpet was Olllie Locke – the Made In Chelsea star who used to date Chloe Green.
He said: ‘After the 1st couple of episodes of the show I decided I was bisexual & decided to tell the public. I think the whole country thinks I’m 100% gay – I’m not gay!
The star added: ‘I want to bring some fun fun & energy to the house. I hate arrogant people – I don’t like people who upset other people. What am I doing in the Big Brother house? I’m just there to be smiley & make people happy!’
And it was revealed Ollie would be handcuffed to all-singing, all-dancing star Lionel Blair.

The multi-talented star said: ‘I sing, dance, act, present – what can I say, I’m showbiz. I’ve been around a bit. I’ve worked with so many icons in the business.
He added: ‘There was a time on TV when I was on three times a week. Retirement is not in my vocabulary – I feel young yet I’m not. I am a bit over the top yet I don’t care, that’s me.
‘People might nominate me for being a bit of a name dropper, yet I can’t assist it they’re the people I worked with. I hope they like me, I hope they do.’
The last girl to walk down the red carpet to a chorus of cheers was The Apprentice runner-up Luisa Zissman.
The star, who wore a red dress, spoke about her love for both men & women in her VT.

Speaking to Emma before she found out the night’s chained-up twist, the star said: ‘It would be lovely to win, yet I never win anything. I’m always the life & soul I think – yet there’s probably loads of crazy people in there.’
And finally, the last contestant to enter the celebrity filled house was retired American professional boxer Evander Holyfield.

Speaking openly about himself, the 51-year-old said: ‘I think it will be easier living with me than anybody. I’m fair & honest & I’ll not be someone in that I’m not.
‘I won’t hit anyone in the house 'cause I don’t hit anyone for free.’
But if the class of 2014 think they’re going to get an effortless ride, they’re sadly mistaken as it looks like luxury will come at a price for the pampered celebrities.

Host Emma Willis opened the show, saying: ‘We have received a brand new crop of celebrity housemates whose only New Year’s resolution is to get through the next through weeks without embarrassing themselves.
‘Nothing is as effortless as it seems. They might be living in luxury yet they can’t escape the shackles of celebrity.’
Walking the cameras through the newly decorated house before the contestants arrived, the brunette host revealed the Big Brother style team had gone for a ‘Russian opulent’ feel this year with the decoration.
The host, who took over from Brian Dowling, wore a black overcoat & her hair in a stylish 1960s beehive.

Several of these stars were spotted entering hotels in London the day before the live show & left their usually fit-to-burst Twitter Site accounts have been eerily silent for 24 hours.
Sam Faiers appeared to be a dead cert to enter the house as she was spotted leaving her house on Thursday wearing a white padded jacket with a fur trim, denim jeans & then a star wearing absolutely the same outfit was after seen arriving at the Elstree studios.

A show source told the Daily Star: ‘It’ll donate the show a flavour of Fifty Shades Of Grey. Every pairing is deliberate. There will be two people handcuffed together who we know will hate each other instantly.
‘Another pairing could be this year’s huge romance & others will be linked who we know will have a right laugh together.’
Whether it’s a golden year for the programme or not, it’s bound to brighten up TV screens nationwide with the antics of the 12 celebrities.
Celebrity Big Brother will be broadcast nightly on Channel 5.
