LAS VEGAS MARKET INCREASES TEMPORARY
EXHIBITORS FOR WINTER MARKET

LAS VEGAS – World Market Center formally announced in that more than 325 gift, home décor & furniture suppliers, in addition to nearly 90 new-to-market exhibitors, will showcase new products in 105,000 sq. ft. of temporary space in Buildings B & C at the Winter 2014 Las Vegas NV Market, running January 26 to 30, at World Market Center Las Vegas.

“The realignment of temporary space in Buildings B & C at the Winter 2014 Las Vegas NV Market is attracting a substantial influx of new exhibitors, bringing not only a wide diversity of merchandise to the industry yet moreover a heightened level of excitement,” asserted Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “Our gift & home décor temporary exhibit space in Building C is tracking to achieve 20% growth over last market’s temporary presentation.  This expansion signals the industry’s support for the market & further advances our strategic plan to position Las Vegas NV Market as the leading market in the western U.S. for furniture, home décor & giftware.”

To date, temporary exhibits in Building C contain 245 companies, in addition to 84 first-time exhibitors & 161 returning exhibitors, in more than 70,000 sq. ft. of temporary space on three floors, c-ONE, C5 & C11.  An additional 40 companies are expected to commit in the weeks leading up to market.  Among Building C highlights are the debut of three new themed product category presentations: Veranda- highlighting outdoor lifestyle merchandise on C5; Gallery-spotlighting better home textiles resources on C5; & Fashion- the 1st dedicated exhibition area for fashion merchandise, personal care & wellness products & fashion accessories on C11.

Located on the 2nd floor of Building B, the 35,000 sq. ft. Home Furnishings Temporary Exhibits are 99% full & expected to be completely sold out for the January 2014 Las Vegas NV Market.  More than 80 exhibitors, in addition to newcomers Fusion Designs, Reclaimed Rustic Woodworks, SleepAngel & the Authentic Home Furnishings Association pavilion featuring more than half a dozen exhibitors plus an expanded 1,800 sq. ft. exhibit featuring “best booth” favorites American West by Paladin Industries, Karen Kreek Camp Design Furniture, Silverado Home, Southwest Looms, Tables & More, will showcase a wide selection of home furnishings in addition to furniture, upholstery, motion, bedding, juvenile, accessories & décor.

New on c-ONE, an well-to-do cross-category presentation of gift, home décor & furniture resources in both permanent showrooms & temporary exhibit space, are Elizabeth Lucas Company, a wholesale art company specializing in limited-edition mixed media prints; & Interior Illusions, a purveyor of gift & decorative accessories making their wholesale debut. These new c-ONE exhibitors join a diverse assortment of new-to-market design-forward lines, in addition to Allan Copley Designs, Brodarick Design, FermobUSA, SkLO, Tronk Design & Trowbridge Gallery.

The success of home décor showroom leasing on floors C3 & C4 has led to an increase in demand for synergistic temporary exhibition space on floor C5.  Within the new Veranda category, exhibitors contain Laura Lee Designs, Pelican Reef, Skyline Designs, Theresa Seidel Designs & Tony Wais Design; & within the new Gallery collection, resources contain Amity Home, Angelica Barcelona, Caitlin Wilson Textiles, Opal At Home, Softline Home Fashions & Tessera. Other home-related temporary categories on C5 contain Home, Textiles & Style.

On C11, the launch of the new Fashion category will feature lifestyle suppliers, such as Donna Sharp Inc., Ergo Candle, Eyebobs & Sweet Bubbles. Other lifestyle-related temporary exhibit categories on C11 are: Gift, Global, Gourmet, Made, Trend & Vintage.

A type of special events, in addition to daily networking opportunities, night entertainment & hospitality rooms, moreover are planned to spotlight temporary exhibitors throughout Buildings B & C.  

There will be a complimentary pleased hour on B2, C5 & C11, Sunday, January 26 to Wednesday, January 30 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m, & a daily morning bar at 10 a.m. serving brunch cocktails on C5 & C11.  Other special events in Building C contain the launch of the “Make It Beautiful Collection” by Softline Home Fashions, an extensive licensed collection of decorative fabrics, pillows & ready-made curtains developed by interior designer, author and HGTV television host Monica Pedersen on Monday, January 27 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on C5; & a gourmet demonstration stage on C11 featuring daily presentations of new products, store displays & demonstrations, along with giveaways in the Gourmet category.

The Winter 2014 Las Vegas NV Market will take place January 26 to 30, 2014, at World Market Center Las Vegas.
