Eat, drink & be scary during Las Vegas’ Third Annual Howl-O-Week

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Las Vegas is the ultimate destination for a monstrous acceptable time this Halloween. As the paranormal takes over, visitors can expect everything except the ordinary throughout October, culminating with the annual yearly Las Vegas NV Howl-O-Week experience Oct. 25-Nov. 3. The always anticipated Howl-O-Week festivities consist of 10 days filled with haunted ghost tours, parades, parties, costume contests & more.

GHOULS, GHOSTS AND GOBLINS…OH MY!
Fright Dome returns to The Adventuredome at Circus Circus Las Vegas. For more than a decade, Fright Dome has-been one of the nation’s top-ranked Halloween attractions. Created by “hauntrepreneur” Jason Egan, Fright Dome is 250,000 “scare” feet with six new haunted houses, four scare zones, 25 rides & attractions, nightly live shows & much more. Fright Dome begins Oct. 3 & will continue throughout the month from 7 p.m.-midnight.

The Haunted Ghost Tours at Bonnie Springs Ranch donate ghost enthusiasts an authentic paranormal investigation experience. Participants have the possibility to receive hands-on training with the same equipment featured in very popular reality television shows & use it during a live investigation at Bonnie Springs. Bonnie Springs is located near Red Rock Canyon & was featured on Travel Channel’s very popular show “Ghost Adventures.” Investigations happen the last Saturday of every month with an early adventure 7-10 p.m. & a late-night possibility 10:30 p.m.-midnight. Returning to Bonnie Springs Ranch Oct. 10-31 is Bonnie Screams Wicked West Haunted Ghost Town. The event is complete with haunted houses, urban legends, film fests & more.

Other bone-chilling experiences in that will leave visitors sleeping with the lights on contain Freakling Bros. Horror Shows, “Trilogy of Terror.” Trilogy of Terror features “Gates of Hell,” the only R-rated haunted house in the state of Nevada, & “Circus of Horrors” & “Castle Vampire.”

THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT
For those not afraid of the dark, check out Las Vegas’ unique nightlife parties. From super heroes to villains, Tryst at Wynn Las Vegas celebrates comic characters, acceptable & bad, with Hero-Ween, Oct. 24-31. Also at Wynn is XS Nightclub, which will take on the exceptionally chilling theme, XS Apocalypse. This unique celebration, happening Oct. 25-31, will feature famed entertainers Afrojack, Steve Angello, Kaskade & more. Hakkasan at MGM Grand will morph in to Forbidden City with three sexy costume contests on Oct. 26, 27 & 31.
