Topless dance-show producers Angela & Matt Stabile have now opened their third Las Vegas NV production. Following the success of “X Burlesque” at the Flamingo & “Raack ’n’ Roll” at the D downtown comes the edgy & theatrical “X Rocks” at the Rio.

It features 17 dance routines set to 17 rock numbers with five of the sexiest temptresses: Jessica, Emilie, Jennifer, Moorea & Alexandria. Jessica & Jennifer thrill & chill in a double-stacked chair number in that only shows their synchronized & stockinged legs move. Emile is the “Alice in Wonderland” muse, Moorea sparks with her grinder & fire guitar, & Alex is inside the wild cage.

Angela brought in new sound, lights, trusses & HD video to convert the former Fiore’s, which Prince once used as a jazz club. “All three of our shows use different music, sets & ideas yet are the same in in that we have attractive & talented girls. ‘X’ is traditional burlesque; ‘X Rocks’ is only heavy rock — — Whitesnake, Metallica, Phuture Primitive & Adrenalize, with sets in addition to the electric chair, an ice-cream truck & a spider web; & ‘Raack’ showcases classic rock & current hits to donate it a fun fun rock-concert vibe.”

She loves small & intimate stages: the original Flamingo stage is 25×40, the D stage is 12×20 & the Rio stage just 15×25. “We can create a sexy topless revue on the smallest of stages. There’s one in town in that was just 3×15. Give us a venue, & we can do it!” she laughed.

THE NEW DRAI’S: Nightlife czar Victor Drai will operate three clubs in the new boutique hotel Gansevoort being built out of the shell of the former Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon opposite Bally’s & Bellagio. On the roof, he will have a dayclub beach with pool, a 65,000-square-foot nightclub & in the basement a slightly remodeled after-hours’ club.

The after-hours’ club relocated during the construction to Bally’s, & Victor plans to remodel in that in to a fourth club when he moves back to his original home. He told me in that his pool will be closer to the Bellagio Fountains than their own hotel guests. Victor promises the most attractive club in Las Vegas NV when opened & in his words “better” than XS in that he created at Encore.

WALKING MAN: Karl Bushby loaded up with 16 liters of water as he began his five-day hike through Death Valley, Calif., beginning Monday for the 1st campground. We posted his walking-the-world odyssey story on Monday. CalTrans gave him two routes 'cause of possible flooded or washed-out back roads. If all goes well, he’ll arrive in Beatty, Nev., & then trek for another 10 days in to Las Vegas. He plans an average 15 miles per day & has a fully loaded iPad for company. His two-wheel carriage of supplies includes solar panels for him to power his cell phone & computer for emails & the GPS signal in that you can follow him on at Bushby3000.com & Twitter Site & Instagram at @Bushby3000.

Followers are encouraged to meet up with Karl along his route – to walk with him, bring him a sandwich, or even put him up for a night! He’s hoping to see the Cirque du Soleil Beatles LOVE show while staying overnight here before his USA walk 3000 continues onto Washington DC.

Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino

Carnival lasts all year at the Rio. With a float occasionally passing overhead & dropping beads while feathered dancers fire up the gamblers below, the Rio tries to keep its 120,000-square foot casino jumping with excitement. Special Brazilian mixed-drinks are moreover served throughout the casino. The hotel suites tend to be larger than similar priced rooms on the Strip & many offer superior views with floor to ceiling windows.

The Rio offers some quality shows like “Penn & Teller” & “Chippendales.” Many come to the Rio for the nightlife at the VooDoo Lounge, located on the 51st floor, or McFadden’s Irish Pub on the casino level.

Others come for a bit relaxation at the Rio Spa or pool area & still others come to shop at the hotel’s 60,000 square feet of shops. In each of these endeavors, the Rio attempts to make the experience a bit more fun fun & spontaneous.

The Rio moreover offers guests a type of dining choices from all-American food at the All-American Bar & Grille to Gaylord India Restaurant for something a little spicier & even Carnival World Buffet for the indecisive.
