IIT JEE Advanced Result 2016 : Results of JEE (ADV) 2016 will be declared on sunday, 12-06-2016, 10 AM. Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates will be available on the online portal www.jeeadv.ac.in after the results are declared. Indian Institute of Technology has held the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced exam on 22nd of May, 2016. It is an All India entrance examination that is conducted every year by Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). JEE Apex Board has conducted the JEE entrance exam for the students and is now all set to release the results of the same. JEE Mains exam was conducted on 3rd of April, 2016 and the results were released on 27th of April, 2016. IIT JEE Advanced 2016 results are finally going to be out today. The board has decided to announce the IIT JEE Advanced results on sunday. The answer key was also released by the examination conducting authority with the help of which students have already checked their score. Now the board is planning to dispense the results of IIT JEE Advanced exam results 2016. It will release the results through its official web portal. Candidates can check their results by visiting the official page of the board. The results will be dispensed through the official page of the board. Candidates who have appeared for the exam are advised to visit the official site of the board to check their results online.

IIT JEE Advanced 2016 Results

IIT JEE advanced exam was conducted on 22nd of May for which scores of students have appeared.  Now all the students are eagerly waiting to know their results. This exam is conducted in order to provide admissions for the merit students into various IIT colleges in the country.  Candidates who got qualified in the exam by crossing the cutoff marks set by the exam conducting authority will be given admissions into various IIT colleges of the country depending on their score and rank.

IIT JEE exam is very prestigious exam that is taken by zillions of students every year in order to study under graduation in various IITs and ISMs.  JEE Exam will be held in seven IIT zones across the country with an objective to provide admissions into various engineering professional courses like Bachelor’s Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs in the sixteen IITs around the country.  The sixteen IITs include Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhapur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai, Mandi, Patna, Roorkee, Ropar, Varanasi and also Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad.

IIT JEE Advanced 2016 Category wise All India Ranks (AIR)

IIT JEE Advanced Result 2016 : Candidates who have the desire to do their under graduation in IITs and ISMs will appear for this entrance examination.  The merit students of this JEE Advanced exam will be given admissions into various IITs and ISMs. Depending on the marks obtained by the candidates they will be allotted seats in various colleges into various professional courses. The results are set to be out on 12th of June as per the board. The results will be out through the official page. The official page where students need to check their results is www.jeeadv.ac.in. The score card will be issued as soon as the results are out.

Qualifying Criteria for JEE (Advanced) 2016

The total marks obtained in Mathematics will be the marks awarded for Mathematics in Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total marks obtained in Physics and Chemistry will also be calculated in the same way. The aggregate marks will be calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Candidates have to satisfy the subject-wise as well as the aggregate qualifying marks to be included in a rank list.

Maximum aggregate marks: 372 (186 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2)

Maximum marks in Physics: 124 (62 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2)

Maximum marks in Chemistry: 124 (62 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2)

Maximum marks in Mathematics: 124 (62 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2)

JEE (Adv) 2016 qualified candidates who are desirous of choosing architecture programs at IIT Kharagpur or IIT Roorkee must qualify Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT 2016). Such candidates must register for AAT 2016 on the candidate portal before 05:00 PM on 13-June-2016. AAT 2016 will be conducted on 15-June-2016 from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM at zonal IITs only.

Feedback on Answer Keys : The feedback and comments of the candidates on answer keys have been reviewed. There is no change in the answer key published on 05-June-2016.

Rank lists of jee Advanced 2016

Only candidates who appear in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered for ranking. The marks obtained by a candidate in Physics in JEE (Advanced) 2016 will be equal to the marks scored in Physics part of Paper 1 plus the marks scored in Physics part of Paper 2. Marks obtained in Chemistry and Mathematics will be calculated in the same way. The aggregate marks obtained by a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2016 is the sum of the marks awarded to him/her in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Rank lists will be prepared based on the aggregate marks in JEE (Advanced) 2016.

If the aggregate marks scored by two or more candidates are same, then the following tie-break policy will be used for awarding ranks: Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Mathematics. If this does not break the tie, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Physics. If there is a tie even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank. Rank lists for preparatory courses (see Preparatory Courses ) will be prepared for SC, ST candidates and PwD candidates in all categories who satisfy the prescribed relaxed criteria given below. A candidate who qualifies in more than one category will be considered in all the categories to which he/she belongs for the purpose of ranking. There will be no waiting list for ranking. IIT JEE Advanced Result 2016 to be announced today.

Individual rank cards will NOT be sent to candidates. Obtaining a rank in JEE (Advanced) 2016 does not guarantee admission to IITs or ISM.

How to check IIT JEE Advanced Results 2016?

Go to the official site of JEE i.e., jeeadv.ac.in.

In the official page check for “IIT JEE Advanced results” link and click on it.

On clicking it you will be directed to a new page where you need to enter your particulars and submit.

On submission your result will be displayed on the screen.

Take a printout of your result for future use.
