As I continue with the Genesis Bible series I will now touch on the Christian meaning of names starting in Genesis chapter 49 verse 13. These are the 12 tribes of Israel and what each name means. You can see how significant the meanings are – how each person fulfilled the meaning – not on the individual but the entire tribe.
Some of the names I looked up did not have a particular meaning other than to say a son of Jacob or Israel.
