The Ayuntamiento of Teguise have published details of their programme of events for Christmas, New Year and Kings which includes the holiday resort of Costa Teguise in Lanzarote.
Each Thursday there is a Ruta de Tapas called ComeTeguise where you can sample local dishes, they’re all based in La Villa de Teguise and take turn around various streets of the historic old capital with a different entertainer each week.
The traditional New Year’s Eve party will be held in the old capital of Teguise with grapes, champagne, party bags and a spectacular firework display at midnight, all of which is free to attend and has a spectacular atmosphere.
The Kings don’t have a procession through the holiday resort of Costa Teguise this year, but you can see the main one for the municipality in Teguise after the children´s musical on the evening of the 5th January.
