Get caught up with the latest in the world of Ohio State recruiting.
Penn State legacy Andrew Pryts finally made it back to Columbus over the weekend. After checking out OSU on a couple different occasions, the son of former Nittany Lion linebacker Ed Pryts had the chance to tour the Ohio State University campus with his family.
Andrew, a hard hitting, 6'1, 200-pound safety, holds both PSU and OSU in high regards. Michigan, Michigan State, and Notre Dame are a few of the other programs currently in the mix for the four-star standout from Hickory High School in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
Most analysts around the recruiting scene are currently pegging Pryts to follow in his father's footsteps and suit up for Penn State on the next level. Since Pryts has said many times that he is open to playing anywhere, having the chance to show him and his family what Ohio State is all about could be exactly what the Buckeyes needed to help them steal one away from James Franklin and the PSU staff. Only time will tell.
Buckeyes offer 2017 lineman
The Buckeyes have been on an offer spree recently. As first reported by Alex Gleitman of 247Sports, one of the latest recruits the Ohio State coaching staff offered a scholarship to was four-star offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson of Poly Prep in Brooklyn, New York.
A massive lineman at 6'7, and well over 310 pounds, Wilson (a four-star prospect) adds the Buckeyes to an already impressive scholarship list. Alabama, Boston College, Michigan, Miami, Penn State, and South Carolina are just a few of the programs OSU finds themselves up against for Wilson's services.
According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Wilson is currently the 15th offensive tackle and 85th overall prospect in the entire 2017 class.

2016 defensive back and OSU target Wayne Davis will commit this summer, per Ryan Bartow of 247Sports. Davis, a four-star safety from Lake Taylor High (the same school that produced current Buckeye defensive end Jalyn Holmes) currently has a top two of Virginia Tech and Ohio State.
Future Buckeye big man Derek Funderburk was selected to participate in the Nike Basketball Academy held in Santa Monica, California on June 26-30. As one of the 60 invitees, the Lakewood St. Edward class of 2016 standout will learn from current NBA greats such as Lebron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and Anthony Davis.
