ALEDO, Ill. (KWQC) – The Aledo Police Department has made arrests in a burglary investigation of Mi Casa Mexican Cuisine.
Chief of Police J. Michael Sponsler says between the 3rd and 4th of August a small amount of cash and other items were taken from the restaurant.
On August 16th a search warrant was executed in the 200 block of N.E. 3rd Avenue by Aledo Police and the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department. 23 year old Bryan P. Askew of Aledo was taken into custody on an arrest warrant. Askew was transported to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department and charged with burglary.
Also charged in the investigation is 31 year old Joshua A. Goff of Kiethsburg, Illinois. Goff was already in state custody on unrelated charges.
