Happy Monday, all!

Last week Lawn Fawn released some fun new products. So today I have a video for you showing two cards made using new stamps, dies, embellishments, and inks from their new release. :)

I created a stripe background for my first card by applying 1/4″ masking tape across white cardstock. I then added four of the new Lawn Fawn inks (see the ink colors below in the Supplies) using a Mini Round Blending Tool. The inks are formulated to dry evenly on cardstock Sven if the inked stripes looked a bit splotchy at first, they dried beautifully.

After white heat embossing a greeting from the Scripty Sayings stamp set, I added wood veneer stars and sequins.

For my second card, I created some DIY stencils using the Party Balloon dies and window plastic (acetate) from Lifestyle Crafts. You could definitely use masking paper instead of acetate to create the stencils, but I wanted to save the DIY stencils and I knew acetate would be more durable.

I blended on the same colors of ink using the DIY stencil and drew on the balloon strings with a black marker. The greeting stripe was diecut using the Happy Birthday Border die. I also put Stick It Adhesive on the cardstock before die cutting to make it easier to adhere to the card.

I hope you enjoy today’s cards and video! Thanks for stopping by! :)
