This course provides an overview of the quintessential style elements for the interior and exterior of windows, doors and room trim of the American Farmhouse style house, including proportion, color, materials and glazing. Upon completing this course, you will be able to:
Connect this style to the innovations of the Victorian Era, Queen Anne and Colonial style influences.
Describe the essential elements of the American Farmhouse style.
Understand the elements of the quintessential doors for the American Farmhouse style, including proportion, color, material and glazing.
Understand the elements of the quintessential primary, accent and transom windows for the American Farmhouse style, including proportion, color, glazing, grille pattern and trim.
Weiland has developed two tested flush track systems, including the patented full drainage track shown above. The display in our showroom has left this track partially exposed so that building professionals can see how the system works, and provide their clients with the confidence they need that this is a system that will last.
The ability to create expansive sliding door openings with performance rated flush tracks require that certain flooring tolerances be met. To accomplish this Weiland designed their flush drainage tracks with a built-in marker to make sure the smooth surfaced finished floor (including grout lines and flooring in pockets) is installed at exactly 3/16″ below the top and along the entire length of the track.
Huge openings, seamless transitions, and outstanding performance. Discover stunning ways to connect the indoors to the outside with Weiland’s custom sliding doors and windows. Creative freedom is in your hands. This is a complimentary event, but please RSVP below.
