My Review:
I don’t know about you but there is nothing better than coming home and having the dinner already made. I love to find slow cooker recipes that are easy to throw together and have a lot of flavor. I love The Hungry Family Slow Cooker Cookbook ~ it has a big variety of recipes even some dessert ones. I really like that there are a lot of pictures and the food looks great.
I just received the book so I have only made one of the recipes – I made the Sweet chicken Rice bowls. It has just a few ingredients like bottled barbecue sauce and pineapple chunks. It was easy to put in the crock pot and when I came home I had some tender chicken with a thick sweet sauce! It smelled good and tasted great! We loved it! Next I plan on roasting a whole chicken ~ it looks easy and will be good for Sunday dinner!
