2nd Annual Plane Pull Event

On Saturday, September 24, 2016, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico will hold the 2nd Annual Plane Pull benefiting the youth of our community at Albuquerque International Sunport.

7th Annual Jubilee Arts & Crafts Fair

Fifty artists and crafters display gifts, jewelry, fiber arts, pottery, metal sculpture, handmade soaps, and more. Door prizes, raffle, live music, food. Fundraiser for the Los Lunas Fire Department to purchase life-saving cardiac monitoring equipment held at the Jubilee Villa from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

NM Steam Locomotive Open House

Free open house tour at the Santa Fe 2926 Locomotive from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be live music all day, free popcorn, hot dogs and drinks.

Albuquerque International Festival 2016

The Albuquerque International Festival is a free daylong multicultural event that celebrates the International District of Southeast Albuquerque, bringing in diverse entertainment, food and crafts. The event takes place at the NM Veteran’s Memorial Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Downtown Albuquerque Walking Tours

The Albuquerque Historical Society has worked with Historic Albuquerque Inc. (HAI) to develop a walking tour of downtown Central Ave and train volunteers to provide free tours every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Valle de Oro NWR’s 4th Birthday Celebration

Saturday, September 24th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. is Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge’s birthday event. They’re kicking off the Refuge’s fourth year with cake, hayrides, music, food trucks, and interactive activities.

Isleta Pueblo Since Time Immemorial to the 21st Century

Presented by Richard Garcia The Stories of the Middle Rio Grande – Villages of the Rio Grande series is a collection of lectures by local historians designed to bring to life the rich history and cultural traditions of the Albuquerque area from historic Old Town traveling south to the Pueblo of Isleta, one neighborhood at time. The event takes place Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Art Demonstration with Duane Koyawena

Get inspired both visually and spiritually with an in-store demonstration by artist Duane Koyawena (Hopi, Tewa) at Shumakolowa Native Arts in Albuquerque from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Rio Abajo Becker Street Festival

This free, family-friendly event is being held in downtown Belen from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. with live bands, dance contests, horseshoe, hot air balloon glow and more.

Sisters Paint and Wine Gives Back

A portion of ticket sales for Saturday afternoon classes from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. through September will go towards providing art therapy for foster families in the Albuquerque community. Tickets are only $25 and support the Bair Foundation.

The Surrealists Don’t Mind

This is an exhibition featuring the work of four local artists, Ashley Benning, Marie-Dominique Downs, Harry O Morris and Martin Terry ath the 606 Gallery in Albuquerque from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Oktoberfest at Sierra Blanca Brewery

Oktoberfest at the brewery in Sierra Blanca Brewery’s 1/2 acre beer garden in Moriarty. $12 admission provides traditional Oktoberfest dinner and entertainment and jumpers for kids. Kids 12 and under with paying adult eats free. Takes place from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Live at the Andaluz; Chris Dracup Trio

Live the Andaluz Life with an evening of live entertainment featuring Chris Dracup Trio from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

David & Co.

David & Co. is led by seasoned musician David Nunez. Nunez has more than 40 years of experience in the music industry, touring with chart-topping powerhouses including B.B. King, Chicago, The Neville Brothers and Tower of Power. He is playing at Lounge 54 in the Santa Ana Star Casino at 9 p.m.

Vegas Nights Every Saturday at The Stage

Santa Ana Star Casino is bringing the energy and excitement of Las Vegas nightlife to the 505 starting at 9 p.m.
