HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) – Law enforcement officials in Seminole, Texas arrested Christopher Cardenas for probation violation and served him an arrest warrant.
He was charged with an open count of murder. Cardenas will be held without bond pending extradition.
The homicide occurred June 26, 2015 in Hobbs, New Mexico.
Erica Martinez, 27 of Hobbs, continues to be a person of interest in this case.
