Even though original members and brothers Zac and Josh Farro left Paramore in 2010 with a rather public display of animosity toward Hayley Williams, it appears that at least some of the bad blood is in the past. Zac will appear on the band’s new studio album, where he’ll once again be playing drums.

Speaking with Billboard, Farro said about the opportunity, “It’s a second chance. I’m so thankful that I’m playing on the album, but that wasn’t what was important to me at the beginning. What was important was mending those friendships… Hayley and Taylor have become really good friends of mine again and they’re super supportive of my stuff.”

During the band’s annual Parahoy cruise in March, Williams appeared to have reached a better place about her former bandmates. During the set, she shouted out love to Zac and Josh, as well as York. At the time, it seemed as though everyone had turned over a more positive leaf, but with Zac taking part in recording new music perhaps it signaled the start of something more.

Zac will appear on Paramore’s follow-up to their 2013 self-titled album. In May, Williams tweeted a photo showing her and Taylor York working on new music. No word yet on when that will be released.
