NORTH BAY (KRON) — Due to the El Niño-related storms battering the Bay Area on Friday, some schools in the North Bay are closing their doors due to bad weather and hazardous road conditions.

The following schools announced closures:

— Shoreline School District (Tomales)

Guerneville School District (Guerneville)

Harmony Union (Occidental)

— Harmony Elementary School

— Salmon Creek Charter School

Monte Rio Union School District

— Monte Rio Union School

Flood Warning

— Mendocino – The Flood Warning Continues for the Navarro Rivera at Navarro.

— Napa – Napa River near St. Helena from Friday Morning until further notice

— Sonoma – Russian River at Johnsons Beach near Guerneville until Sunday morning
