This position is with Camp Bow Wow® and Home Buddies® Alpharetta– A Premier Doggy Day Camp, Overnight Camp, Dog Training and Pet Sitting group.
Camp Bow Wow Alpharetta, is looking for qualified, pet enthusiasts for our Camp team. This team member would be helping with Day Camp and Overnight Boarding. The job consists mainly of caring for the animals and adhering to a strict schedule and cleaning routine. We are looking for several candidates to start in the Camp Counselor role.
Pet Care Provider/Camp Counselor:
Ensure a smooth schedule for dog activity & cleaning.
Ensure safety of camp, team, and dogs
Engages in healthy play with dogs in play yards.
Manage dogs in your care to proactively avoid any poor behavior or aggression.
Ensure a clean facility.
Responsible for cleaning up dog waste in play yards.
Ensure familiarity with all dog’s names and personalities.
Make sure all dogs are monitored for any cuts or scrapes while at play.
Be in view of cameras engaging in healthy play with dogs from 5lb to 175lb.
Ensure Timeline and Daily Checklist is done in timely manner, partnering with leadership.
Communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
We have full-time and part-time positions available.
We are open 7 days a week/365 days a year. Applicants must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule including shifts that include nights (till 7pm), mornings (start at 6am), weekends and holidays.
Wage start at $8.50 depending on related experience
