The story is starting to pick up. I’m enjoying Lee Min Jung’s style as well. Seo Kang Joon’s quirky fashion and his too-cute-for-words character is fast stealing any affections I might have for Joo Sang Wook’s character, Cha Jung Woo.
Episode 5 started with more scenes from the previous episode. Jung Woo left Na Ae Ra at the house he built in the likeness of the house he and Ae Ra planned. Despite bragging the house to Ae Ra and letting her know she’s no longer a part of his dreams, he looks defeated.
After catching the culprit who stole company information, Yeo Jin practically forced Jung Woo to treat Na Ae Ra and Seung Hyun for dinner as a form of thank you.
Meanwhile, Soo Cheol who was banished from their house, visited Min Young and Ae Ra’s place. Ae Ra is none too pleased at seeing his good-for-nothing brother and immediately shooed him out.
Jung Woo is now having massive headaches what with Ae Ra practically getting herself a permanent position in the company with this latest incident.
I love this abstract sweater Secretary Gil was wearing in this scene!
Sweaters are definitely their favorite home garb in this drama. Na Ae Ra and Kang Min Young are both wearing this staple. Min Young seems to be sporting one with a petal print so reminiscent to the fast-becoming iconic Christopher Kane flower petal shirts from their S/S 2014 Collection.

Ae Ra remembered passing her resignation letter so she went to work early the next day to get it back before the chief sees it. She was surprised to find out it’s no longer where she left it.
Striped collarless jackets, anyone? I might be tempted to buy one if they’re this cute.

Seung Hyun, ever the knight-in-shining-armor, saw her placing her letter on the chief’s desk and went ahead and retrieved it. He’s looking quite dapper in this outfit too! Would you have worn a two-tone blazer with a floral shirt and haphazardly-placed necktie? Guys?
How much longer are we going to see flashbacks of Yeo Jin in her wedding dress looking giddy with a guy in a wedding car? We get it already.
Cha Jung Woo arrives to work the next morning looking spiffy in this teal blazer that he wore with a printed tie. He was greeted with suspicious grins and smirks at work.
Turned out Na Ae Ra posted a photo of a young and geeky Jung Woo online and everyone is having a field day about it.
The photos are just the start. She also brought a bunch of lilies to work. Lo and behold, Cha Jung Woo is allergic to them.
This houndstooth-printed peplum jacket is nothing short of cute. The peplum detail have this office look a more youthful and feminine vibe.

Cha Jung Woo is teaching Yeo Jin how to learn what the public likes. They rode the subway just to spy on what applications people are using while passing time.
Yeo Jin went home in a high spirits. She was greeted by Seung Hyun who reminded her that her birthday’s up and they need to have a celebration. They decided to invite Jung Woo over for her birthday.

Ae Ra and Seung Hyun were tasked to find restaurants that will become their new clients. They first went into this jam-packed restaurant but the owner wasn’t receptive to collaborating with them because her business is already successful.
Love the two-tone jacket Ae Ra was wearing here. She basically can pull off any look –casual, girly, what-have-you. And can Seung Hyun get any cuter with that suit made more casual by his inner shirt and lapel adornment?

That minion and robot brooch! Ae Ra wore a pair camel-tone boots with her ensemble while Seung Hyun went for canvas loafers. What, no sneakers? The sneakers seem to be a staple for suits in Kdrama land. The backpack is still there though.
Seung Hyun told Ae Ra to take a break first from finding clients because he is hungry.
Ae Ra then took her to her family’s restaurant, who is conspicuously empty even at lunch hour. Her mom told her the lack of customers is because of the mall nearby, who is stealing most of their clients. Seung Hyun seemed to enjoy their restaurant’s specialty, which is soup.
While eating, her mom’s friend dropped by, saw Ae Ra and told her she found a possible suitor for her: a divorced guy with two kids. Ae Ra confessed to Seung Hyun that she’s divorced but the latter just shrugged it off and said it’s none of his business.
Meanwhile, Gab Soo, Ae Ra’s father, met up with Cha Jung Woo to ask for help in marketing their small restaurant.
Attention seems to be on the restaurant today because Seung Hyun recommended the restaurant to their chief, having just sampled their delicious soup. Na Ae Ra was surprised at first.
Yeo Jin called Ae Ra and Seung Hyun in and told them they should be promoted to a more permanent position in the company. But because they are trying to stave off rumors about favoritism, they can’t yet. Ae Ra said it’s okay since she did not do the good deed just to gain favors in the company. This made Yeo Jin like her even more.
Ae Ra left, leaving Seung Hyun behind. Without an audience, Seung Hyun freely called Yeo Jin “noona”. The team’s chief, who was waiting for her turn to talk to Yeo Jin overheard this and immediately got into the correct conclusion that Seung Hyun and Yeo Jin are related.
She tried to get into Seung Hyun’s good graces by approving his recommendation.

Now that their recommendation was approved, it is time to set things into motion. The two met up with Na Ae Ra’s family to create the advertisement.
Seung Hyun wore and edgy blazer with horizontal striped details at the sleeves. He wore it with a chambray shirt, white sweater and bleached pants. Ae Ra, on the other hand, wore a cutesy pastel sweater.

They may be a dysfunctional family but they look happy.
The advertisement seems to be doing great so everyone decided to celebrate. After learning that the CEO will tag along, the chief decided to come with. Na Ae Ra is in a polka-dot printed dress, which, thanks to Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2014, is becoming very popular again. Seung Hyun changed into a grey blazer that he spiced up with quirky toy brooches again.

Ae Ra wore this sailor/nautical-inspired dresscoat over the polka dot dress. She was in the midst of singing a sad ballad when Cha Jung Woo, accompanied by Yeo Jin arrived. She urged Jung Woo to sing a song for them, knowing full well he can’t sing.

But the joke’s on Ae Ra because some time during their divorce, Jung Woo learned how to sing. Yeo Jin also accompanied him and both sang a duet.
