The cable channel tvN drama “Witch’s Romance” currently reveals a much complicated love triangle in which the main characters, Ban Ji Yeon (played by Uhm jung Hwa) is facing. She is torn between a past lover, No Shi Hoon (played by Han Jae Suk) and a younger new lover, Yoon Dong Ha (played by Park Seo Joon). There are many things she is trying to consider and in the recent episode, it showed that it’s not something easy for her to decide about.
The viewers attention was totally caught by the recent more tense episodes that led to them thinking, who would she really choose and who among the two is more compatible to her. Of course a lot of viewers are rooting for Dong Ha who showed his sincere love towards Ji Yeon regardless of their huge differences. But then some viewers are also torn as No Shi Hoon is more compatible to her also leaving a valid reason of him leaving her during their engagement.
In the 12th day broadcast of the drama “Witch’s Romance”, Ban Ji Yeon’s former fiance of 6 years has reappeared. With reasons still unexplained, he seems to have returned to win Ji Yeon back. She still has abit of anger in her heart but she also can’t hide the fact that there is still some space left by her ex-fiance Shi Hoon as their breakup didn’t have closure.
Noh Shi Hoon left her after their engagement and just a few days before their wedding. Without any clue, he disappeared, leaving Ji Yeon terribly heartbroken and confused on what went wrong between the two of them.
On the other side of the story, Yoon Dong Ha felt quite uneasy and worried because of Noh Shi Hoon’s sudden appearance. His presence seem to shook Ban Ji Yeon’s heart, making her confused and making things more difficult for Dong Ha. He planned on finally confessing everything to Ji yeon, but as how events have turned, he decided to delay it to avoid stressing out Ji Yeon’s confused heart.
The story plot of “Witch’s Romance” are getting a lot of interest because of its story plot, but then also, a lot viewers believe that a story plot like this isn’t very new anymore. The other lover is still an effective way to shake the story and make things more intense.
But aside from that, one more thing that makes the story interesting to viewers is the characters’ particular set of personalities. A successful career woman in the role of Ban Ji Yeon, is truly a sign that women can still acquire strength in character in personality without being prejudiced. The set of characters truly adds spice to the story, so it’s more than just romantic comedy. A lot of social issues are also involved.
Now that a love triangle has occurred, it will reveal more of the characters’ personalities and how are they going to deal with their own feelings. Would Ji Yeon choose her past lover she has devoted her years with, or to the new one she met that opened her once closed heart?
