The upcoming medical melodrama Doctor Stranger unveils 3 interesting points that will entice the viewers’ Monday-Tuesday drama craving.
Doctor Stranger will be starred by Lee Jong Suk, Park Hae Jin, Jin Se Yeon, Kang Sora and more. The drama was scheduled to premiere on May 5.
Meanwhile, the interesting plot along with the actors who’ll act in it are anticipated in the drama. The main roles will be taken by Lee Jong Suk, Jin Se Yeon, Park Hae Jin and Kang So Ra. They’ll be joined by the senior actors Cheon Ho Jin, Jung Guk Hwan, Choi Jung Woo, Kim Sang Ho and Jung In Ki.

Two geniuses from the North and the South will share their rivalry in the field of medicine.
Lee Jong Suk and Park Hae Jin are the genius doctors in the drama. Lee Jong Suk will play as Park Hoon whose love interest is Jin Se Yeon who’ll play two characters, Song Jae Hee and Han Seung Hee. He really loves her more than his life. But their destiny changes track as Jin Se Yeon gets captured.

Park Hae Jin will play as Han Jae Joon who grew up in the South, studied in a prestigious university and now one of the most elite doctors in South Korea. Lee Jong Suk grew up in North Korea and was trained there to be a doctor by his father. He would do anything just to make money and get the love of his life from North Korea.

One of the most anticipated facts about the drama is the very interesting cast – the merge of the new and old actors.
Lee Jong Suk, Jin Se Yeon, Park Hae Jin and Kang Sora along with Cheon Ho Jin, Jung Guk Hwan, Choi Jung Woo, Joon, Park Hae Joon and Jung In Ki are some of the actors included in the cast which their acting skills will be unfolded in the upcoming drama.
PD Jin Hyuk has already worked with Lee Jong Suk in his drama Prosecutor Princess where the actor debuted. He now takes Lee Jong Suk as the lead role for Doctor Stranger. He’ll play the role of a genius doctor from North Korea as Park Hoon.
Park Hae Jin is included in the cast. He has already gained much popularity since the SBS drama You Who Came from the Stars. In the drama, he’ll play as Han Jae Joon, a skilled and genius doctor in one of the top hospitals in South Korea.
Meanwhile, the four main characters of the drama will surely shine in their acting skills together with the senior actors who’ll be joining the cast – Cheon Ho Jin, Jung Guk Hwan, Choi Jung Woo, Joon, Park Hae Joon and Jung In Ki. Jin Hyuk PD said, “Doctor Stranger’s has the perfect combination of new and old actors in the cast and is very eye-catching. The new actors will be supervised by the senior ones and later on, there will be special appearances. It supports and solidifies the plot of the drama.”

PD Jin Hyuk has chosen to come up with a untypical drama genre – a medical drama. Though medical dramas have also been a trend on TV before, Jin Hyun created an evolution of a medical drama.
Screenwriter Park Jin Woo and PD Jin Hyuk are known for creating dramas with different genres. Whichever, their dramas have caught attention because of their interesting but unusual stories.
PD Jin Hyuk has already tried different drama genres such as romantic-comedy dramas, horror, action, romantic-mystery dramas, melodramas and family stories. Some of his fine works with different genres were The Master’s Sun, City Hunter, Prosecutor Princess and Brilliant Legacy. He’s very experimental when it comes to shooting dramas with unusual genres.
