This year, Team MyBodyMD ranked as Top Fundraising Team #81 for their phenomenal fundraising efforts in raising $2,576 to support Komen Houston’s mission – to save lives and end breast cancer forever.
“As a Breast Reconstruction Surgeon I'm passionate about finding a cure and supporting the fight against breast cancer.” says team captain Dr. Rafi Bidros.
Susan G. Komen® Houston and the annual Komen Houston Race for the Cure® is important to them because it brings awareness to the public about breast cancer and provides services to women in our community through its grants program.
Their team members do an awesome job at raising awareness and funds for the Race. They coordinate their team shirt/jersey prior to the event and the morning of the event, they always meet at registration to head together to the start line.
