 It was a starry evening when Tollywood pace music composers Anupam Roy, Surojit Chatterjee and Anindya Chattopadhyay appeared in the jamming session of acclaimed director duo Nandita Roy- Shiboprosad Mukherjee’s

most awaited film‘Praktan’. South City Mall was looking glitzier in the presence of versatile actor Prosenjit Chatterjee, veteran thespian Sabitri Chattopadhyay, gorgeous Rituparna Sengupta, Manali Dey, Biswanath Basu and others. Noted singer Iman Chakraborty and Upal Sengupta enthralled the audience with their soulful performances and launched the music of Praktan.

The movie consists of 5 music numbers out of which the track “Kolkata”, composed by Anupam Roy has gained a lot of poopularity among fans in the mean tome.

“Praktan comprises of five tunes with a mixed bag effect.  The Kolkata track is composed by Anupam Roy which is my personal favorite. I am fortunate that musical icons Anindya Chattopadhyay, Surojit Chatterjee and Anupam Roy have sung for our film. Praktan shows our bonding for each other”, said director Shiboprosad  at the music launch.

Speaking on the occasion Anupam Roy said, ‘It has been a nice experience to work with Windows. The songs were made with honest effort and turned out to be really nice. I hope all the best for the film and also that the audience likes the music.’
