I know this house well as it is owned by an old friend who first came to Koh Chang 8-9 years ago, stayed at our guesthouse, liked the area so much that he and his wife went looking for a place of their own on the Klong Prao estuary.
However, as they now spend most of their time in Thailand in the north of the country the house doesn’t get used as much as it could – hence it is either for sale or long term rent.
There are now two houses for rent.
The single floor, riverfront house was designed as a holiday home. It is open plan with a large living room / bedroom area plus fitted kitchen and bathroom at the rear of the property. Half the house is built on land and the other half on concrete stilts over the river. It is possible to moor a speedboat directly outside the house. There is also a large covered deck adjacent to the house.
There is also a new, two floor house which is set back from the river but has it’s own private deck by the water. This is now also available for rent. This can sleep four people.
Both properties are ideal for singles or couples. They are fully furnished.
Near neighbours include a couple of small restaurants, excellent massage shop plus several expats.
Rental: Riverfront House: 26,000 Baht / month. For 6 month contract . Negotiable for longer or shorter periods.
Rental: Two floor House: 22,000 Baht / month. For 6 month contract . Negotiable for longer or shorter periods.
