The Franklin Police Department responded to 11 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
4/1/15 @ 9:49 PM, Iesha Davis, 24, of Cayce St., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace by Fighting. Davis was processed and held on a $500.00 bond.
The following three (3) arrests stem from a traffic stop in the area of Main St. and Hwy. 3211. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for improper display of a license plate. In the course of the investigation, narcotics were found in the vehicle, resulting in the following arrests:
4/2/15 @ 2:08 AM, Cherie Welch, 23, of Teche Court, Baldwin, LA, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute. Welch was also arrested on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for Failure to Appear on the charge of Theft. Welch was processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
4/2/15 @ 2:15 AM, Kyle Roy, 21, of Cajun St., Broussard, LA, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute, Transaction Involving Proceeds from Drug Offense, and Resisting an Officer. The additional charges stem from Roy allegedly receiving approximately $317.00 due to a narcotics transaction. Roy also attempted to flee from officers as he was being placed under arrest. Roy was processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
4/2/15 @ 2:34 PM, Michelle Viator, 22, of Weeks St., New Iberia, LA, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute. Viator was processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 44 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Jessica J. Gollmer, 34, 4001 Clark Road, Vidalia, LA was arrested on April 1, 2015 at 3:37 pm for the following offenses:
– Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of improper turn, operating a vehicle without a driver’s license, failure to secure vehicle registration, possession of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles
– Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia
A deputy transported Gollmer from the Concordia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. Bail is set at $4,500.
Owen Plaisance, 49, 506 Clark Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on April 1, 2015 at 8:40 pm for simple battery. A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Plaisance slapped a female victim in the face during an argument. The deputy transported Plaisance to the parish jail for booking. Plaisance was later released on a $500 bond.
