Manage all operational and administrative functions of a 24/7 security command
center and contract guard services. Responsible for security operations
related to the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Emergency
Response, Crisis Management, Business Continuity, Command Center Operations
and Site Physical Security and Asset Protection for sites throughout Brevard
County, FL.

* Operation and administration of a National Industrial Security System Central Monitoring Station

* Operation and administration of Access Control Systems, CCTV, Video Management Systems and Alarm Center Monitoring and Dispatch Modules

* Ensures operators properly respond to and initiate action related to intrusion detection system alarms and access control systems as required by gove
ment industrial security requirements

* Ensures operators properly respond to and initiate action related to fire detection system trouble signals, supervisor signals and alarms

* Ensures operators properly respond to and initiate action related to environmental monitoring and alerting systems

* Ensures operators properly coordinate emergency response with local law enforcement, fire and medical emergency services during emergency situations

* Oversight and management of site physical security and contract guard force

* Establishes, reviews and implements operational procedures to satisfy constantly evolving security and emergency response requirements

* Establishes and implements quality control, self-inspection, and exercise and evaluation programs

* Establishes training plans and standardization/evaluation criteria for position qualifications and certifications

* Conducts crisis response training exercises; integrating the Harris Crisis Management Team and local Incident Management Teams

* Oversee the generation and tracking of security systems maintenance and repair work orders

* Responsible for the production and dissemination of daily status briefs & daily summary reports to Senior Management

* Works closely with Senior Security Managers, Physical & Technical Security, Guard Force, Facilities Management, Program Security Managers and other inte

* Participates in Security Working Groups and Councils

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of increasing NISP related security experience

* This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Additional Skills

* Experienced in the operation and management of a Central Monitoring Station is preferred

* Familiarization with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements for Intrusion Detection Systems, the operation of a Gove
ment Contractor is preferred

* Monitoring Station (GCMS), and proprietary and contract response force requirements experience is preferred

* Should be familiar with the staffing, signal processing, signal retransmission, and record keeping as required in UL 2050 National Industrial Security Systems

* Should be familiar with building and equipment requirements in UL 827, Central-Station Alarm Services

* In-depth knowledge of the administration of automated access control systems is a plus

* Experience in supervising or managing a guard force supporting a Cleared Contractor under the National Industrial Security Program is a plus

* Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Should be highly proficient in writing incident reports

* Should be experienced in conducting drills, exercises and evaluations

* Superior Customer service skills is a plus

* Flexibility, sound judgment, and an even temperament is preferred

* Should be able to interact with people at all levels of the organization, sometimes under stress

* Experienced in using Microsoft Office products is a plus

* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and develop staff is preferred

* Experience in security administration concepts, operating principles and methodologies related to the requirements of the NISPOM, JAFAN, and ICDs is a plus

* Experience as an Exercise Evaluation Team member is a plus

* Active TS/SCI clearance is a plus
