Contribute to the delivery of ASIC’s consumer education strategy by developing website content and resources for consumers and retail investors

This role can be located in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane

12 month non-ongoing contract

ASIC’s Financial Literacy team contributes to ASIC’s goals by motivating and empowering Australian consumers and investors to make informed financial decisions.

As a member of a multi-skilled team, you will be responsible for:

developing website content and print resources for consumers and retail investors about money management and financial products and services on ASIC’s MoneySmart website, to reflect regulatory and market developments, product innovation and law reform;

designing and laying out web and print content on ASIC’s MoneySmart website in accordance with brand guidelines;

contributing to ASIC’s MoneySmart social media messages and promotional work;

contributing to projects that develop and deliver consumer resources on ASIC’s MoneySmart website;

developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders;

contributing generally to consumer education activities undertaken by ASIC’s Financial Literacy team; and

preparing briefings, reports and submissions on a broad range of financial literacy issues.

To be successful in this role, you will have relevant experience in writing and designing consumer-focused content and resources for online and print media. A relevant tertiary qualification in journalism, communications, graphic design for print/media or a related discipline is desirable.

This position is a Designated Security Assessed position and requires successful National Security clearance. Australian citizenship is also required.
