Job Description
Reporting into the Senior Research Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative and project support on both qualitative and quantitative research projects. You will also be responsible for the following:
Daily tasks including but not limited to, liaising with agencies, logistical support of meetings, collating and preparing notes, participating in analysis, input to reporting, managing spend etc.
Assisting with the collation and development of regular reporting, franchise factsheets and insight news bursts combing data across various sources – tracking, TV ratings and online data
Coordinating all workshop and brainstorm sessions providing the collation and dissemination of output
Providing administrative support to the research team
Supporting and project managing all ad hoc projects as required
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you will have strong research experience and preferably come from an agency background. You will have the ability to analyse and report on data drawing out clear insights . You will also possess the following:
Tertiary degree in social sciences, psychology or a related discipline
High attention to detail
Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
High degree of numeracy in order to work with data on a daily basis and check its accuracy
Strong communication skills including written, verbal and interpersonal
A desire to work in consumer insights
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ideally, an interest in the entertainment and video categories

Job Description
This is a broad and varied position which will provide a strong platform for your future career development. You will partner with the Finance Manager as a key support in delivering monthly financial reporting and you will assist in the preparation and completion of half yearly and annual statutory accounts. You will also be involved in partnering with key commercial decisions with analysis and commentary of the company’s performance and progression towards key objectives. In addition you will also be a key point of contact for a range of internal stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally you will be a recent CPA or CA qualified or part qualified and now seeking to make a move to further progress your career
You will have previous experience working within a large commercial business
Previous work experience in a chartered accounting firm, Big 4 or Mid Tier; partnering with medium to large clients will be highly regarded
You will have demonstrated a strong academic performance; ideally you will have received a credit average or higher from a reputable university

Previous experience in a similar role is essential
Experience within import/distribution or manufacturing his highly desired
Experience with a large ERP such as SAP, JD Edwards or Oracle
Advanced Excel and exposure to Macros
CPA/CA part qualified or qualified

An exciting career opportunity exists in our busy Sydney office for an Intermediate Administration Assistant in our General Insurance practice group.
The team require administrative support of the highest order. Your key responsibilities will include transcribing digital dictation, general correspondence and court documents, preparation of briefs to counsel, management of lawyers’ diaries, file administration, billing, and other general administrative responsibilities as required. You will regularly liaise with clients and external providers, so your polished telephone manner, high level of attention to detail and communication skills are required.
You will have previous experience as a legal secretary in litigation of at least 3 years, fast and accurate typing skills of 70+wpm, sound knowledge of MS Office and have an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised work method.
An excellent salary is on offer commensurate with your experience and proven capabilities.
