About the Business Line
Government
AECOMs Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOMs Government business line and is comprised of three divisions International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
Job Summary
AECOM has an excellent opportunity for a Human Resources Manager on our Oasis project in Australia. The selected candidate is responsible for managing staff in one or more of the following areas: employment/EEO, training, compensation, benefits, training or Human Resource Information Systems. Additionally, the HR Manager will establish and administer policies and procedures for the HR area; assign works, train and manage employee performance of the work unit; research new human resource practices for application to assigned HR area; develop, implement and monitor results of the Company’s employment, placement, and affirmative action programs; investigate, compile and submit required AAP/EEO reports; develop, implement and administer relocation programs; develop, implement and monitor results of the Company’s training program. Establish goals and objectives for these programs; deliver training in person or media formats; implement company efforts to promote workforce diversity; implement processes for internal communication of HR related information; develop, implement and monitor results of the Company’s job evaluation, incentive, benefit, performance management and HRIS programs/systems; design incentive programs, where appropriate; manage annual salary planning and performance management process; implement upgrades and enhancements to the HRIS and perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements
*
TS/SCI w/poly required.
*
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources required.
*
7 or more years of job related experience or equivalent required.
*
Excellent communication skills.
*
Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications.
*
Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
*
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Must be able to endure occasional lifting to 20 pounds.
*
Must be able to work under deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
*
PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
*
Masters degree in Human Resources preferred.
