The Role
• Locum duration: approx. 12 weeks
• Contribute towards maintenance of mammography, ultrasound, processing, and ancillary equipment
• Assist in the provision and co-ordination of breast imaging diagnostic and screening services including mammography, ultrasound and interventional breast imaging
• Performing mammography (including special views) to a high standard with special attention to patient care and management. Optimize Patient (client) care through optimum radiation exposure combined with minimum discomfort and efficiency in meeting clinical demand.
• Assist in breast-imaging interventional procedures (US-guided biopsy, hookwires, vaccum assisted biopsies) at the assessment clinics

What will you need
• demonstrated experience in Mammography is essential but training will be provided for the right candidate
• demonstrated experience in breast ultrasound is essential
• demonstrate effective communication and patient-oriented care
• valid QLD radiation license
• AHPRA registration
