Junior Project Manager / Remedial Engineer
Junior Project Manager / Building Consultant / Remedial Engineer
Partridge Remedial is a small team of building consultants, project managers, and structural engineers working in a collaborative and friendly environment who provide investigative, diagnostic, forensic, and reporting services for all building structures, specialising in multi-unit residential strata titles. We draw upon our extensive knowledge and experience gained through our 35 years in business to investigate, report and prepare detailed repair scopes for rectification of structural, building and waterproofing defects.
We currently have a position available for a Junior Project Manager / Building Consultant / Remedial Engineer to join our interactive team. This role is based in our Sydney office in St Leonards (adjacent to the train station) and is an opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills in the art of building defect investigation, diagnosis and remediation including;
*
Site investigation and diagnosis of building defects
*
Preparing defect reports and recommendations for remedial works
*
Preparing tender documents including Scope of Works and Technical Specifications
*
Contract administration and project management
*
Site inspection of remedial work during construction
*
Direct exposure to a large number of projects and mentoring by experienced and senior staff including the practice directors.
To be the successful candidate you will;

Have recently or nearly completed a building, construction project management, or engineering degree
*
Have a thirst for knowledge and eagerness to learn
*
Be personable, independent, and resourceful
*
Be and effective communicator and have good written and oral communication skills
*
Be a clear thinker and problem solver
*
Be self-aware, confident and able to correctly read people and situations
*
Site experience or contract administration experience would be an advantage
