This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SAP Lead Functional Business Analyst to join a highly regarded industry leader.
Your focus in this role will be to lead a team of Business Analysts to develop and maintain business requirements ensuring they are aligned with the business needs. You and your team will define business capabilities through robust business processes.
The successful candidate will assume responsibility for key functional area(s) and interact with senior business & IT personnel. You will guide the team of seasoned Business Analysts and ensure that the functional requirements produced align with the Principles, Policies, Standards and methodologies for Sydney Water.
You will be a point of escalation for the team, a mentor and ultimately a champion of robust Business Analysis principles for the program. The successful candidate will not only be an excellent team player but also a high functioning individual contributor.
Skills and responsibilities:
Demonstrated ability in leading people and teams and exemplary stakeholder engagement skills
High level of leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to negotiate and communicate at senior and managerial level both internally and externally
Strong relationship, negotiation, conflict management and issue resolution skills
High level of Problem-solving skills with the ability to rationalise identify, evaluate risks, and
develop alternate options
Ability to work as part of a team in a changing and challenging environment
Ability to manage competing priorities and prioritise deliverables
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Experience in facilitating business workshops
Experience business acumen including financial and contract management
In order to be considered for this position your background will include:
A minimum 10 years’ experience in Information Technology with at least 3 years’ experience in Utilities essential
Minimum 8 years’ deep dive experience in SAP implementations
Technical expertise in business process:
ARIS modelling
SAP ERP, CRM, Billing
Experience managing multiple domains
Knowledge of relevant business technologies
Experience in dealing with technology vendors and managing contracts
Commercial acumen and business understanding.
Previous management experience
Experience in managing a temporary workforce including variable people costs
Contract definition and management expertise
Sound working knowledge of IT management and business processes
