POSITION PURPOSE (Why does this position exist)
To provide planning and prioritising of works within the Road Services area to ensure
efficient and effective maintenance of the Roads and Stormwater network.
This position is required to investigate, scope, plan and prioritise scheduled and
unscheduled work to allow the Road Services Coordinator to coordinate to weekly
scheduling of activities ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources.
The position is required to estimate budgets for the required scope of works. Also
ensuring that work is planned and documentation prepared in a manner compliant with
legislative and Council requirements.
This position will closely liaise with the Road Services Coordinator and Road Services
Supervisor to ensure works are undertaken in a planned manner to meet service levels
maintaining road and stormwater networks.
