This DWS practice is looking for 2 General Practitioners to join them on a full time basis.
VR GP and GP’s with general registration can apply
No weekends, after-hours or on call is required
Opportunity for VMO work at local regional hospital
Nursing home work if desired
Monday to Friday 830-5.30PM
THE LOCATION
This practice is ideally located on the Mid North Coast. It is just 45 mins drive north from Coffs Harbour on the Pacific Hwy and only 3.5 hours drive North to the Gold Coast and 2 hours to Byron Bay
Magnificent beach areas and stunning national reserve bush land surround this beautiful jacaranda city. The local marine parks are the ideal place to spend your free time fishing, diving, snorkeling or boating. The mighty Clarence river is the biggest in the Southern hemisphere and also boasts an International venue for sailing and rowing. We also celebrate the annual Jacaranda festival. Grafton is known as Jacaranda City and hosts a number of private day care and childcare centres that are all within a 5 minute drive of the medical practice.
The town has a range of Public and Private schools as well three Universities are all within driving distance starting with Coffs Harbour, Lismore and UNE at Armidale.
THE PRACTICE
This practice has recently opened due to the increasing patient demand from the partnered clinic. You will be working in a small but highly efficient and supportive team of GP’s, full time nursing and administration staff. The practice boasts brand new, user friendly computer systems all ready for the integration of the new health link system. There is an onsite pathologist, while dentists and allied health professionals are within arm’s reach to the practice. This is a practice that is seeking a GP who is more focused on holistic healthcare and optimising the patient experience. You will be joining a team that is very friendly and believe in a happy workplace. The team will go out of their way to make you feel settled and part of the team. The practice is primarily mixed billing but expects a larger focus on bulk billing in the future.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT:
Post graduate qualifications such as FRACGP, FACRRM, FRNZCGP, MRCGP, JCPTPG & PMETB, MICGP, and CCFP
Non VR GP’s must have General registration with AHPRA
