The position is responsible for the ongoing management of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system activities across NSWPF, in order to deliver cost effective systems and service to approximately 19,000 customers, in a variety of geographic locations across New South Wales.
Specifically the position provides expertise in SAP modules functionality, enhancement and production support by managing, supervising and allocating tasks to resources within the SAP Business Support. Service level expectations for functionality, availability, performance, security and control are fulfilled by assisting users in analysing and providing solutions and managing day-to-day operations to enable a working and stable development, training and production environments.
The Manager position supervises and manages the support of a variety of SAP system modules including: Organisational Management, Personnel Management, Recruitment, Time Management, Education and Training, Occupational Health & Safety, Employee self-service, Payroll, Finance, Workflow Management and customised modules including the Flextime system, Career Management System, Promotions system and the IBR/SAP Post process functionality. Inbound interfaces include the Computerised Assessment system (CAS), Pre-qualifying assessment results (PQA), Online learning results (LSO) and Intelligence based rostering (IBR). Outbound interfaces include Injury Notifications to Allianz, IBR and Electronic Data Warehouse (EDW).
Selection Criteria:
Recent relevant experience in the support and administration of corporate information systems, including the development of user briefs, system design, implementation and ongoing management
Ability to critically analyse complex issues and prepare recommendations and options and ability to generate reports from business systems
Experience in the development of approved enhancements within the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (training, development, test and production)
Excellent work management skills, ability to contribute to the management of projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and client liaison skills
Ability to manage and mentor staff, contractors and external service providers and provide leadership in problem solving and priority management
Knowledge of NSWPF or similar government HR/Payroll and Finance business processes and a general knowledge of SAP core modules
Client focus and experience in providing computer support services to end-users
Demonstrated capacity to implement required health and safety policies and safe work practices.
