Our Insurance practice group is recognised as one of the leading Insurance teams in Australia. Demand on our services has created an opportunity for a Senior Associate to join the Sydney team. This is a unique opportunity to pursue an area of Insurance law that presents exciting potential for career advancement and significant development opportunities.

The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows;

Responsibilities

Work across a diverse range of Insurance matters including public liability, professional indemnity and Directors & Officers

Draft advices, prepare court documents and attend hearings

Assist with mediation meetings and settlement conferences

Mentor and supervise Associates, Lawyers and Graduates

Assist with Business Development and marketing initiatives

Requirements

A minimum of 6 years PQE gained within a reputable Insurance practice

Demonstrated experience dealing with complex and intricate transactions

The ability to act with minimal supervision in drafting advices, attending hearings and liaising with clients.

Outstanding analytical, technical and drafting skills
