Multiple Sclerosis Limited (MS) is the pre-eminent source of information, advice, and services for people affected by multiple sclerosis. They are a combined entity of ACT, NSW and Victoria with more than 55 years insight into how to live well with the disease. MS raises funds to support the delivery of services that enable people affected by multiple sclerosis to do all the ordinary, everyday things while the search for a cure continues.
About the Opportunity
MS have a highly rewarding opportunity for a Senior Fundraising Manager (Donor Management) to lead their friendly teams based in either their stunning North Sydney office with views of the harbour or their conveniently located Melbourne office in Blackburn, on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the General Manager for Strategic Marketing and Sales,you will drive the next stage of development in the increasingly competitive donor space, to meet MS’s 2020 Fundraising Strategy goals.
You will be a motivated manager looking to leverage your business acumen and your track record to drive significant growth across donor appeals, regular giving, bequests, lotteries and major donors.
Overseeing an experienced team of six, this is a senior leadership position where you’ll have the opportunity to develop and manage major fundraising strategies with the key purpose of generating revenue.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing donor acquisition and retention initiatives in order to build a sustainable revenue base;
Optimising the returns of existing initiatives and identifying and establishing new fundraising initiatives;
Developing a segmentation and relationship model to optimise cash donations and bequests from major donors;
Developing and implementing compelling value propositions and marketing communications to engage the philanthropic community;
Identifying and building relationships with trusts, foundations, and high net worth individuals;
Networking to introduce new high net worth individuals to the organisation; and
Working to optimise the use of Salesforce as the main CRM across the fundraising sector;
MS will offer the successful candidate a competitive remuneration package of up to $120,000, including super plus salary packaging options to the value of $15,900!
This highly varied role will see you providing support to a skilled and welcoming team, whilst using your ideas and insights to create new fundraising strategies for the organisation.
